If, by chance, there are any items that we just couldn’t find in our online store due to sizing, colour options or other issues, then we will order what you want or find a suitable substitution. Furthermore, we will also send you links to the information discussed during our session, such as how to accessorize, how to achieve maximum efficiency in a capsule wardrobe, and even how to effectively wear some of your existing wardrobe pieces. We are aiming for a small collection of useful clothing that you love that changes with each season.

Furthermore, we will also help you create outfits by sending you an extensive report. Some of our clients have told us that these reports helped them find clothes to wear for many years after our first session—so you can expect to find the report very useful for many years to come.

Do I have to get the two services of Personalized Colour Analysis and Shape, Style and Fit before hiring you for Wardrobe edit and personal shopping?

You don’t have to because we include an element of both to assist you. But it is definitely useful because it helps us know you better and create a style profile for you. It’s not essential that you get these packages, but they will definitely help you learn more about your body, personality, and the clothes that fit you best.

So, what again is the difference between your service and just taking my friend or husband out shopping, or just simply relying on the shop assistant to help?

The main difference shopping with your friend or husband is that you are the centre of our focus. We will find the key elements of your personal style. Plus, we are patient, understanding, and will definitely help you bring together outfits and give you ideas on how different items can be mixed, matched and worn.

Regarding shopping assistants, although they can definitely be helpful, they may not really focus on what suits you. Many of them will lack expertise in colour personality and body shape, whereas that’s exactly what we offer at Dawson Boutique. Also, having sales targets to meet, might affect the service you receive from a shopping assistant.

Is it really possible to choose clothes for someone you don’t really know?

The key to all this is being attentive to our customers. We quiz you; we send you well-thought-out questionnaires; we set up online meetings with you; and we always ask for and value your opinion. This helps us collect essential information about you so that we can make the best suggestions.

However, most of our customers end up loving the experience either of actually shopping with us or receiving our confidence box which allows them to try all their safe choices from the comfort of their homes. There is always the assurance that we are supporting them in the shopping process. This makes it easier to filter through the options and invest in items that are really worth it.

Is there an age range you work with?

We work with all ages. Age-appropriate upgrades are our specialty. We get customers from all possible age ranges, so age is really not an issue at all. Beauty and style are timeless, so we can definitely help you regardless of whether you are 18 or 100!

Help! I have a technical issue and I don’t know how to fix it! I am not getting your emails!

No worries. We’re here. The reason you are probably not getting our emails is, because often, email providers mistake our emails for spam. Ugh, we hate it, but technology can sometimes be like that. How do I book an appointment?

Once you purchase and complete the questionnaire you will be asked to book your consultation appointment and follow-up at the date and time that suits you.

How do I create an account?

When you purchase a consultation or product, you will be asked to create an account linked with your email address. You can use this to log into the website again in future to see your consultation results and previous order history.

Can I return items after purchasing?

Of course! If something doesn’t fit, you can return it up to 30 days after receipt. Please do not hesitate to email us if you need more time. We understand shipping and delivery can affect this timeline! The sooner you let us know with an email or text the better so we can find a proper substitution for you when available.

Do you have a referral program?

Absolutely! Recommend a friend to us and you will receive a discount coupon code sent to your email that you can use toward purchasing an item on our site.
